hey im doing a project in my advanced art class and chose day of the dead as my theme. As part of the project research we have to reference an artist in our sketchbook who we like and who has drawn something under our theme. Would you care if I used you and this portrait? I would credit you of course.

Thank you so much! I mostly just need basic info, like your age, where you studied art, what media you use most often and what inspired you to do this piece.

ok, urmm... im 24, from london, and the names Matt Jones and I've recently got a job as a graphic designer.
Haven't really studied art anywhere, did it a lil at school then went to Ravensbourne college of design and communication where I did a graphic design foundation course, but everything I know I learnt through playing around and working it out for myself.
The mediums I use the most are pencil, biro's, 'Letraset' markers, fineliners etc and I've recently got into digital work using Photoshop CS5.
I'd describe my style as being heavily influenced by asian art and tattoo's but I also like to make a lot of my work look realistic.
I started the day of the dead picture as I'm trying to teach my self to draw humans. I find it to be one of the hardest things to do and I made her have the candy skull markings as I think I had recently watched something about the festival in Mexico.

Anything else you want to know just drop me a message again.
